Wondering how to start your day off right? Here is an amazing recipe for some MUTANT peanut butter cup protein pancakes, courtesy of @thunderr_katt — a fellow Canadian!
• 1 scoop MUTANT ISO SURGE Peanut Butter Chocolate flavor
• 1/2 tbsp organic coconut flour
• A pinch of salt
• 1/4 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
• Sweetener to taste (optional)
• 1/2 cup egg whites
• Water (as needed)
Mix all of the dry ingredients, then add the vanilla and egg whites. Stir, but don't overmix! If your batter is too thick, add a little water to achieve the desired consistency, but remember: thick batter = THICK PANCAKES = THICK BICEPS (just kidding).
Let the batter sit whilst you preheat your pan. Spray with non-stick cooking spray, or even better, coconut oil, and cook like normal pancakes! About 1 minute for the first side, then flip and cook for 30 more seconds, or until done.
